This is a 270 page interactive results-driven book that gently equips and teaches parents how to stand in their authority in Christ and gives them the knowledge, wisdom, words, and prayers they need to deliver their children from any spirits (demons) that may be influencing their behavior or tormenting their mind.

Paul said in Ephesians 6, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual beings in heavenly places. Fighting in the natural will not bring victory; we must engage in the spirit.

“For years, my husband and I searched for resources to help with parenting our three children in a godly and biblical way. Some were helpful but nothing was completely or exactly what we needed until the Lord led us to Barb and the material she presents in this new book, Spiritual Protection and Deliverance for our Children.

My husband and I were both raised in Christian homes, but we still struggled to understand how to guide our children spiritually and support their emotional needs. Our boys wrestled with emotional issues very early on and our home quickly became one of constant dysregulation and disorder. Both our boys have ADHD, and our younger boy was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder. He exhibited out-of-control rage, anger, and physical and verbal aggression. At times, he became unsafe toward himself and others at home. We saw psychologists and neurologists who advised us to put him on medication and were told that he was hard wired to be defiant, and that this would be his normal. However, I knew as his mother that underneath it all, he was a kind, compassionate and sensitive boy who was just misunderstood.

I dove deep into research and therapies to help understand the heart behind my sweet boy’s behavior. It consumed our whole family life as we tried to find ways to support our children. Our son struggled with sleep and night terrors. He complained of stomach pain constantly and would throw up frequently. Eventually all his relationships were affected by his aggressive behaviors including close family. It greatly affected family activities, holidays, and church attendance. He refused to go to school, and his behavior was so unpredictable that we did not feel safe leaving our home with him. Our sweet boy spent most of his days screaming and violently out of control, then falling into a cycle of shame and remorse. His sense of identity was shattered, and he began to take on the labels placed on him. Anxiety and depression started to grow deeper and more severe in him and in myself. I felt so alone and isolated in my circumstances.

Finally, we had exhausted all resources and still were not better off than before until we connected with Barb. Barb came to our home and taught us the connection between mind, body, and spirit. We learned that all our struggles linked back to the main issue which was spiritual bondage.

Through Barb’s willingness to meet with us and the biblical teachings and prayers in her most recent book, Position Yourself for Healing, the spiritual realm became unveiled to us. We learned how to step into spiritual authority and protection for our children.

My husband and I began to stand together against the enemy in prayer and find freedom for ourselves and our children. Through prayer, our son also received freedom from the dysregulation, sensory problems and hypersensitivity that had caused him to have physical aggression, violent outbursts and rage. He can now regulate and enjoy family activities and outings. He has made friends and is thriving at school. He shows so much compassion to those around him and even in his hard moments no longer shows aggression toward others. God has allowed his brilliance to emerge, and it is a delight to watch our kids grow into the people God created them to be.

We are now operating in a new level of spiritual parenting I never thought was even possible. Our home is calmer, more regulated, and less stressful. No longer do we fearfully spend hours waiting and trying to get rage to subside; instead, we pick up our swords and engage in the battle. God has done miraculous things in our family, and we have never enjoyed parenting more than we do now.”
